Students will learn to knit a basic sock pattern using two circular needles. This is a great first sock project for a knitter who knows how to knit in the round. The basic sock pattern is great for highly variegated yarns or yarn that doesn’t work well with patterned stitches. The socks will be knit cuff to toe with a gusset and a short row heel, one at a time. We will cover picking up stitches and students will also learn the Kitchener Stitch.
