I walked in to buy needles and left with hard-to-find, beautiful, handmade, reasonably priced #50 wood knitting needles, two new best friends, and an invite to a knitting pot luck. Everyone (from the owners, to the teachers, and the customers who sit around and knit and chat for hours) are so nice and welcoming, I felt instantly at home. There is a lot of helpful advice given freely, a great selection of beautiful commercial and hand-dyed yarns that make a fiber-lover drool, spinning wheels and supplies, knitting, spinning, and weaving classes–everything a fiber artist or someone itching to become one–could want in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.
