The truth of a LYS is the day-in and day-out of the business. When the centerpiece of a shop is a gathering table that is almost always humming with life – there is something really right, and very healthy about that shop. MDSW is one weekend out of the year and may be a mountaintop experience but it sure ain’t the year round real deal that Cloverhill and her owners are!
You are doing this your own way, and building your own community, nestled in the bigger fiber community. I love watching things grow and become more interesting for y’all. I think the attitude you’ve got is a great one and will be rewarded even bigger than you’ve seen so far. Much success to you both!
I just stopped by to check and see if I spelled the name of your yarn correctly, only to find this beautifully written, honest and heartfelt post. Although I don’t much about any if this, I am thankful that you chose to share. I love going to your shop and it’s wonderful to know that in the midst of a weird season for you, you still see the bright side of things.
I look forward to more of your writings, smiles, company, inspiration, and hopefully friendship through knitting.
Keep up the great work. You and Wae are very inspiring. 🙂
